How to Register Your Team for Spring Soccer

Following are instructions on how to register your team in either the D2 Spring League or Redwood Spring League  Both leagues have transitioned to the new website and database.  The website uses a dynamic database, which means that changes in data are instantly reflected throughout the website.  However, the website may be different than what you are used to.  In an effort to help, please check out the FAQ section and the Stuff to Know section

Steps to Registration

There is no requirement that you follow these steps in order:

Enter data for the Coaches and Managers

If your Manager(s):and Coach(es) are in the Redwood or Delgado League database -- there is no need to enter them again

A Manager can enter data for a Coach.  Go to Manager:Registration:Add New Coach

A Coach can not enter data for another Coach

A Manager can not enter data for another Manager

To enter another Manager, have the Manager go to Logon:Register.  If the User is in the database but is not a Manager - drop a note to the Webmaster and ask that the User be made a Manager

Enter data for the Team

If your Team is in the Redwood or Delgado League database -- there is no need to enter them again

You will probably want to go to Manager:Team Update to make changes to Team Staff

If your team is not in the database, go to Manager:Registration:Add New Team (or Coach:Registration:Add New Team)

If you know your CYSA Identification Number PLEASE enter it.  Existing teams (Teams that Played in the Abronzino League) can find their CYSA Team Identification Number on their Goldenrod (The Team ID Number is in the form DD-LL-CC-TTTT)  Brand new Teams will not yet have a Team ID Number.  The website will issue one.

Apply for A Specific Playing League

Go to Manager:Registration:Register Team or Coach: Registration:Register Team.  Select the Playing League, Gender and Age Level that you would like to play.

Enter data for the Parents

If your Team is in the Redwood or Delgado League database most of your parents are already entered-- there is no need to enter them again

Parent data must be entered before you generate a 1601 for the Player.  To enter Parent data, go to Manager or Coach:Registration:Add New Parent

Enter data for the Players

If your Team is in the Redwood or Delgado League database most of your players are already entered-- there is no need to enter them again

To enter New Player data, go to Manager or Coach:Registration:Add New Player.

Establish Your Roster

Go to Manager or Coach:Registratin:Roster.  Transfer in your Fall Roster.  Remove players from your roster by clicking the X.  Add players to your roster by selecting players from the Player drop down.  If the Player played for someone else during the Fall you will not be able to add him until his previous team removes him from their Spring Roster.  DO NOT ADD HIM AGAIN TO THE DATABASE.

Print Passes

Remember in Spring that we print the passes for players that did not play in Fall.  Otherwise we use the Fall Player Pass.

Go to Manager or Coach:Registration:Print Passes.  Click only on the members of your team that need Spring Passes. Print your pass, affix the picture.  Give adult passes a yellow border.  Place these passes in your registration package.

Print a Transmittal Form

Go to Manager or Coach:Registration:Transmittal.  Click on the hyperlink and print the transmittal.  Place this in your registration package.

Submit your Registration

Go to Manager or Coach:Registration:Transmittal and click on the Submit button.  The status of your active team will change from Editiing to Submitted.  When the Playing League accepts your registration the status will change to Accepted
